As Lord Send Me Ministries (LSMM) continues to grow, we are on the path to open “The Boaz House”. The Boaz House will be a faith based transitional house for women who have completed a rehab program and are looking to transition back into the real world. We will help them grow in the God’s Word and learn to lean on Him when coping with life’s problems. The residents will be involved in Bible Studies taught by women in the community. Each resident will also be required to attend Celebrate Recovery and be actively working the steps in a step-based study.

We will provide a variety of classes based on their interests. Examples include: health and fitness, gardening, cooking or painting. We will assist them with their needs. They will learn to set up a bank account and budget their money. We will assist with job skills, resumes, and interviews.   We will help them establish and achieve their personal goals, which might include purchasing a car, and/or saving for the down payment for an apartment.

The program will be designed to last anywhere from 6 months to 1 year. This will be based on each individual’s need. Placement in the program will be determined by an application, interview process, and ultimately decided on by an advisory board.

Our goal is to have the house open by November 1st, 2018. To do this, LSMM needs to raise $25,000. This money will be used to kick start this ministry:

Needs include:

  1. the down payment to purchase the property we are currently leasing
  2. materials necessary to begin construction
  3. provide the furnishings necessary for occupancy

Please consider partnering with us on this phase of our mission, as Lord Send Me Ministries relies on your generous donations to respond to God’s calling in Isaiah 6:8:

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
“Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
