On Monday, April 18, 2016, 20 inches of rain fell over night, causing historic flooding in Houston, Texas. Brookshire, Texas, a small town approximately 30 miles west of downtown Houston, was hit especially hard. Hundreds of people were forced from there homes by rising floodwater. They found refuge in the local high school, with only what they were able to carry out. No food, no clothing and little hope.  John Boaz, President of Lord Send Me Ministries (LSMM) saw a need and responded, “Here I am. Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8) He arrived at the high school with Jesus and a willingness to help. His prayers were answered in the form of volunteers and donations. John and the volunteers are feeding and ministering to the hurting community.

See part of John’s interview here .
